Description
1 underskirt : silk ; 33.5 x 49 in., ties 17 in. and 29 in.
Red silk koshimaki (wrap-around underskirt) with tone on tone design of squares and horizontal stripes is composed of three horizontal panels (6.5 in., 13.25 in. and 13.75 in. wide) stitched together. Hem is made by hand, no machine stitching. Peach colored ties are knotted at upper ends of underskirt.
History
Koshimaki is a wrap-around skirt worn under kimono.
