Portrait of a young woman, Sumie, kneeling down on grassy, Heart Mountain, Wyoming, 1944. Dressed in a plaid pleated skirt and a sweater over a blouse, she kneels facing left with proper right hand on left knee. She looks directly at viewer. Her hair is short and curly.
