Portrait of young woman, Shizu Y., standing in an open area with barracks in background at Heart Mountain concentration camp, Wyoming, 1945. She is wearing a white short sleeved blouse, dark hued skirt and socks and shoes. Her hair is curly with large upswept forelock. She stands with hands clasped in front of her and is turned slightly to the right. Shadow extends to the left behind her.
