Cocktail party hosted by Nippon Yusen Kaisha to celebrate the opening of a new shipping route between Los Angeles and Oakland with Tokyo and Kobe using shipping containers for the first time at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, California, August 21, 1968.
