Iwamoto graduated from Polytechnic High School which was located on Washington Blvd. and Flower St. in what is now downtown Los Angeles and moved to its present site in the San Fernando Valley in 1957. Iwamoto received a $500 renewable scholarship to Redlands University. (01.11.2008 cht)
