All three are dressed in white blouses, belted skirts and armbands. The girl seated in the center with a gavel is Ruth Honda, the first Japanese American girl elected to student body president at Virgil. She is flanked by Secretary Jean Tamura (left) and Vice President Kathleen Emi (right).
