Consul General of Japan Shigeru Nakamura stands amongst a group of Caucasian and Japanese men and women in front of a display at the Elks Club in Calfiornia, November 15, 1956. Dressed in a suit with a dark necktie, Nakamura stands in the center flanked by two men in suits and two women in kimonos. Two men stand behind them. Large boards are propped up on cloth covered tables at right. Partially visible sign in background, "this is the 50th year of the."
