Shonien receives a generous gift -- Nisei Legal Secretaries Association and Mrs. Parsonas joint effort last month with their second annual "TOT ball" provided for a generous gift of $1500 to Shonien. Presentation was made last night at a dinner meeting of the Nisei Legal Secretaries Association at Clifton's Broadway. Making it official are (left to right), Mrs. En Yamada, Nisei Legal Secretaries Association president; Mrs. Kumi Shibuya, Mrs. Parsonas representative; Fred Takayama. Secretary of the Shonien Board of Directors; and Niisuke Mitsumori, treasurer of Shonien Board of Directors. The two groups now go on record as contributing the largest sum of money to Shonien a check for $2000, making the grand total of $3500.
