Dressed in jeans and button-down shirt, the man leans his proper left arm against top of sign while holding a cigarette in his proper right hand. He looks toward left edge. Two girls carrying books walk toward the right at midground in front of a road that extends from left to right edge. Three barracks with tarpaper walls and white window sills in background.
