Description

Young man in geometric pattern kimono dances in C stage while three women play shamisen on a raised dias to the R at Tule Lake concentration camp, Newell, California, 1942-1945. The shamisen players sit seiza on a zabuton on a dias with two microphones; all wear kimonos. Older woman on L sings. The scenery on the stage is of Japanese style buildings.
