The Tule Lake Segregation Center became a new unit of the National Park system in December 2008. Tule Lake’s history will now be preserved by the National Park Service, and its national significance will be communicated to the public. This session will initiate a public dialogue about Tule Lake and its future development and management as a national park unit.
