Tammie Kanda

Corporate Communications, Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.

Tammie Kanda has been with the Corporate Communications Department at Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., the marketing, sales, and distribution arm of Toyota, Lexus, and Scion in the United States, for more than 15 years. She specializes in managing special events and programs, including VIP relations; in this capacity, she makes recommendations and advises corporate management, overseas and affiliated departments, and companies on corporate donations. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Japan America Society of Southern California and as a Board of Governor for the Japanese American National Museum. She is a former Board member of the Go For Broke National Education Center and current and former member of numerous organizations, including: Keiro Senior HealthCare, Little Company of Mary Hospital Foundation, Japanese American Cultural and Community Center, Asia America Symphony, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association.
