Barbara Takei


Barbara Takei is a writer and researcher. A Sansei, she was born and raised in Detroit and now lives in Northern California. Since 2000 she has researched and written about the little-known story about civil rights at Tule Lake, where more than 12,000 Japanese Americans were segregated for being “disloyal” because they protested the injustice of their incarceration.
