G.W. Kimura, Ph.D. (Cantab.)

President & Chief Executive Officer, Japanese American National Museum

Greg Kimura is President and CEO of the Japanese American National Museum and immediate past president and CEO of the Alaskan Humanities Forum (Alaska’s state humanities council). Dr. Kimura has an extensive academic background as a department head and professor with a master’s in Divinity from Harvard University and a PhD in Philosophy of Religion from Cambridge University. He is the author of both fiction and nonfiction works, including Neopragmatism and Theological Reason (Ashgate, 2007), Alaska at 50: The Past, Present, and Next Fifty Years of Statehood (University of Alaska Press, 2009), and the forthcoming Neopragmatism and Theological Method (Peter Lang).
