The Honorable Tomoko Dodo

Acting Consul General , Consulate-General of Japan

Tomoko Dodo graduated from Kyushu University with a bachelor of law degree and entered Japan’s Foreign Service with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Public Relations Bureau in 1977. Ms. Dodo has served at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tokyo and at posts in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, most recently at the Consulate-General of Japan in Seattle as Senior Consul and now as Acting Consul General. Ms. Dodo has two sons and enjoys downhill skiing in the Cascade Mountains whenever she can.
