Conference participants can save time and money through our NEW online registration system. Or, if you prefer, you can print out the registration form (PDF file), and then mail or fax your completed forms and payment as indicated below.

Register today so you don't miss this exciting event! All registrations received by January 31, 2013 receive the Early Bird discount. JANM members receive an additional discount and save up to 35%.

Not a member? Please join or renew your membership before proceeding as you will need your current JANM member ID# and expiration date (or the order confirmation #) in order to receive the member rate.

Please note that only registered participants can purchase tickets to the Luncheon and Dinner Banquets, the Farewell to Manzanar screening, and the Bus and Walking Tours.

General Conference Information

Registration form along with full payment must be completed online, postmarked, or faxed to 213.687.9140 no later than:

January 31, 2013 for EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION, or by
June 5, 2013 for REGULAR REGISTRATION

  • After June 5, only on-site registration will be available. Registration can be done at the Conference at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel beginning on Wednesday, July 3 after 2 PM.
  • JANM membership must be active at the time of registration through the conference dates. Join or renew your membership now.
  • For educators and students: a photocopy of current employment ID or paycheck stub, or student ID, is required. If registering online, fax copy of documents to 213.687.9140, or email to seattle@janm.org.

Registration Confirmation and Cancellation

  • Mailed or faxed registrations will be confirmed via e-mail or written reply (if no e-mail is provided). Please contact seattle@janm.org with any questions.
  • Any registration cancellation or refund requests must be made to JANM in writing and postmarked/faxed by 5 pm (PST) June 12, 2013.
  • Requests received before June 12, 2013, will be refunded the full amount less $25 per registrant for administrative fees. Refund requests postmarked, e-mailed, or faxed after June 12 will not be honored due to required guarantees.

Conference Luncheon and Dinner Banquets

The Luncheon and Dinner Banquets are ticketed events and are included in the All-Inclusive registration package. Tickets for each event can be purchased separately if registered for the conference. Special meal requests and kids' meals must be reserved by June 5, 2013, by e-mail at seattle@janm.org.

Special Requirements

For wheelchair/scooter rental, contact Access Medical at 206.365.7700. Requests for special assistance or equipment (ADA, dietary, hearing assistance equipment, etc.) for the Conference and/or off-site excursions must be emailed by June 5, 2013, to seattle@janm.org or via fax to 213.687.9140.
