Veteran classroom teacher, acting director of the National Council for History Education, and Enduring Communities educator, Cynthia Stout, will share methodology for student-produced oral histories. This will include strategies on how to strengthen students’ historical content, research and interviewing skills, and transcription. Educators attending this session will receive copies of the curriculum when it is completed. It is highly recommended that participants attend both parts of this interactive, double session, which continues from 2:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
