Jin tha MC first appeared on BET’s 106 and Park where he won the Freestyle Friday competition for 7 consecutive weeks. Upon his final victory, he announced that he signed with Ruff Ryders. In October 2004, Jin released his debut album, The Rest Is History, which reached number 54 of the Billboard Top 200 albums chart.

He has since become a prolific independent artist and has come out with classics such as: Jin Presents: The Emcee’s Properganda, 100 Grand Jin, I Promise, and ABC. His new album Birthdays, Funerals, And Things In Between will be released in 2008.
