How about some new ornaments for the holiday tree? Shibata Sensei will teach you how to make stunning paper ornaments for to hang on your holiday tree. Free with Museum admission. Reservations required by December 3.

Workshop instructor: Chester Hashizume. Become a family detective and discover those long-lost relatives. Learn how to create your own family tree, then find out how to enter your family tree in the Museum’s National Family Registry. Members $5, non-members $9 includes Museum admission. Reservations required.

Little Tokyo Guided Tour

Historic Tour Series

The Little Tokyo section of Los Angeles was once a thriving residential, business, and cultural center of the largest Japanese American community in the United States until World War II. Take a walking tour, relive history, and learn about present day Little Tokyo with museum docents on this very popular program. Members free, non-members $5. Reservations required by November 3, 1997. Limited space available.
