WHAT: ‘Museums Free-For-All’ In a joint effort to encourage museum visitorship, the Museum Marketing Roundtable announces the first ‘Museums-Free-For-All’ on October 1, 2005 when the following twenty-four museums will be open free of charge*:
Anaheim Museum, Armory Center for the Arts, Autry National Center, Bowers Museum of Cultural Art, California African American Museum, California Heritage Museum, California Science Center, Casa Romantica Cultural Center & Gardens, Craft and Folk Art Museum, The Getty Center, Hammer Museum, Japanese American National Museum, Laguna Art Museum, Long Beach Museum of Art, The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Museum of Latin American Art, The Museum of Television & Radio, Newport Harbor Nautical Museum, Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, Orange County Museum of Art, Santa Monica Museum of Art, Skirball Cultural Center, Southwest Museum of the American Indian, and UCLA Fowler Museum of Cultural History.
*Regular parking fees apply. General admission only. Does not apply to ticketed exhibitions.
WHEN: ‘Museums Free-For-All’ is Sat., October 1, 2005. Hours vary per museum.
