    Giant Robot Decoden Workshop

    events/decodengiantrobot-300px.jpg

Decoden, which is shorthand Japanese for “decorated phone,” is a style trend that has been popular in Japan for several years. Commonly seen in the fashionable Harajuku district, decoden refers to an overload of sparkly charms and jewels layered onto phones and other accessories for a colorful, tactile effect.

In this workshop, led by YouTube personality and entertainment host Chrissa Sparkles with designer and host Jon Brence (KawaiiGuy), each participant will receive one of Giant Robot’s signature Big Boss Robot figurines to customize in decoden style.

Celebrate the last day of the Giant Robot Biennale 4 exhibition by decorating your own takeaway souvenir!

$28 members, $35 non-members. Supplies and museum admission included. Limited to 15 participants.
