For history and its lessons to endure, children and teens must become exposed to, engaged with, and passionate about the past. Books are key to this process. Published authors, including a Newbery Award winner, discuss how to make stories from different times and subcultures vibrant and relevant for all young readers. The path to publication will also be covered.
