Erika Gee

Program Director, International Coalition of Historic Site Museums of Conscience

Ms. Erika Gee serves as program director for the International Coalition of Historic Site Museums of Conscience where she oversees programs for a global network of historic sites that remember past struggles for justice and foster citizen engagement in addressing their contemporary legacies. She is responsible for the development and management of training and exchange programs among Coalition members in the United States, Canada, and Western Europe. Prior to joining the coalition, Ms. Gee held positions at the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation, Museum of Chinese in the Americas, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), and the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center. Ms. Gee holds a M.S. degree in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education and a B.A. in History and Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
