Eric Bittner

Certified Archivist, National Archives - Rocky Mountain Region

Eric Bittner was raised in Colorado and Wyoming. He attended Black Hills State College, Spearfish SD, and earned his M.A. in American Studies at the University of Wyoming. He has been a Certified Archivist since 2001. Mr. Bittner has been employed at National Archives since 1988 and his duties include reference, description and inventorying of records, outreach (including workshops for genealogists), and preservation. He is a member of the Society of Rocky Mountain Archivists, Wyoming State Historical Society, Lakewood (Colorado) Historical Society, and the Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation.
