Judy Kurtz

High School Educator, Legacy High School, Adams 12 School District

Judy Kurtz has been a teacher for twenty-three years, having studied at Cornell University and St. John’s College. She most enjoys developing curricula that enhances students’ understanding of the connectedness of many disciplines. She has developed integrated curricula in literature, American history, world history, geography, art, and science. She has taught at the public middle school level on up to Advanced Placement English Literature, Language, World History, and Human Geography. In addition, she has developed courses of study for middle school Montessori students. She makes her home in Thornton, CO, where she teaches at Legacy High School.
