Polly Baca

President and CEO, Latin American Research and Service Agency (LARASA)

Former Colorado State Senator Polly Baca is the President and CEO of the Latin American Research and Service Agency (LARASA). She has forty years of experience in nonprofit leadership, including serving on the founding staff of the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) and as Executive Director of the Colorado Hispanic Institute. Polly has been inducted into the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame and the National Hispanic Hall of Fame and has been listed in the World Who’s Who of Women, Who’s Who in American Politics, and Who’s Who in the West. She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and did graduate work at Colorado State University, the American University in Washington, D.C., and the University of Colorado at Denver. She received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, and an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa.
