Tsukasa Matsueda

Author

Tsukasa Matsueda was born in Stockton, California in 1925. He graduated from the University of California in Berkeley, California. He received my M.A. from San Francisco State College and my ED.D from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts. Mr. Matsueda taught at the Secondary Schools for thirty-three years. One of the courses he taught was Japanese Language which, at that time, was one of the few high schools teaching Japanese Language. In the evenings, he taught a Japanese American History class at Stanford University and San Jose State College. When he was in the U.S. Army, he was assigned to the 525th Military Intelligence Unit in North Carolina where he taught Japanese Language. Two years ago, he wrote a book, Issei: The Shadow Generation. He is currently writing short stories.
