This U.S.-Japan Symposium is the third co-hosted by The Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership (CGP) and the Japanese American National Museum. Following the keynote speeches of Hon. Daniel K. Inouye, U.S. Senator and Mr. Yasuchika Hasegawa, Chairman of Committee on U.S. Affairs, Nippon Keidanren, three influential Japanese American panelists in the field of U.S. media and movie industry will give insights on the images of Japan and how it is changing. Furthermore, with the participation of the audience, discussions will be carried out to promote further mutual understanding between Japan and U.S. and to build a stronger bilateral relationship through the media.
