Portrait of a young woman, Fumi Munekiyo, sitting on the ground, Heart Mountain, Wyoming, May 27, 1944. Dressed in bobby sox, saddle shoes, blouse and cuffed pedal pushers, Munekiyo hugs her legs with her proper left arm while her proper right arm rests on the ground. She smiles at viewer. The horizon line is low.
