A woman, Susie Sugimoto, irons a red piece of material with a flatiron in right foreground, while her husband, Henry Sugimoto, watches her over his right shoulder with a paintbrush poised in his left hand above a canvas in the background left. Susie's hair is pulled back and she wears a white apron over a blue spotted yellow dress. Sugimoto is dressed in blue and is seated on a crate.
