July 15, 1942/Dear Miss Breed, /Thank you very much for the books./I have read 2 books, and they are very nice. I reading another book and it is a very intresting book. /I like the poems too./I certinly get my tounge curled when I try to say: /Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers./Did Peter Piper pick a peck of pickled peppers?/If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, Wheres the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?/anybody could say that slow, but we have to say it fast./Last night we saw lightning, but it did not rain/The other night it did, but in the morning it was all dry./Say "Hello" to everyone for me./Yours Truly,/Katherine Tasaki
