Portrait of three Bussei queens, including Mae Mukoji, Senshin Buddhist Temple queen candidate in the Southern District Young Buddhist League (SDYBL), at the second annual Senshin YBA "Fantasia" social in the I.A.S. Hall located near the former Pan Pacific Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, February 2, 1957. Mukoji holds a bouquet of roses and is flanked by two women, Hide Shimozono, last year's candidate on left, and Midori Kusumoto, Los Angeles YBA's candidate at right. All three women wear carnation corsages clipped to their dresses.
