Finding Family Stories Festival

About the Event

Join us for a day full of music, art workshops, and fun! A bus shuttle will be in operation from the El Pueblo Gallery to the California African American Museum.

12:00-2:30 PM - The finding family stories Festival begins at the El Pueblo Gallery, hosted by the Chinese American Museum with a hands-on art workshop led by artist Steven Yao-Chee Wong. For more information, please call 213.626.5240.

2:00-4:30 PM - The finding family stories Festival continues at the California African American Museum. Special art workshops led by Betty Lee and Michael Massenburg. Children from Fresh Start Performing Arts Academy will sing favorites from their repertoire and storyteller Barbara H. Clark will delight audiences with family stories.
