From The Ground Up Workshop Series

Wildfires. Raids. Protests. In just ten months, our city’s been through a lot. As we face these existential threats, our communities need new generations of leaders and activists to step up and take on the challenges. In 2024, Hate Is A Virus conducted dozens of interviews with lifelong Asian American changemakers. That research was turned into From The Ground Up, a framework for sustainable activism that supports young activists today.

Learn more about community-centered activism and hear from leaders on the frontlines of activism with these two workshops in this new series presented by the Democracy Center and Hate Is A Virus. The series is supported by the UPRISERS Foundation.
