Postmarked Power

Join us at the Democracy Center for Postmarked Power, an empowering free event designed for community members who want to make a difference. This interactive program introduces participants to the ways they can make their voices heard by local and state representatives.

Through hands-on activities, practical tools such as writing to elected officials, guided discussions, and real-world examples, attendees will learn how government decisions impact their daily lives—and how they can influence those decisions. The program also provides a welcoming space to ask questions, share perspectives, and connect with peers who are passionate about creating positive change.

Whether you’re new to civic engagement or curious about ways to reach out to your elected officials, this event offers the knowledge, confidence, and inspiration to take the first step toward active participation in your community. All community members are encouraged to attend and discover how their voice truly matters.
