National Day of Action to Defend History News Conference and Rally Comes to Little Tokyo Aug. 23
Japanese American Survivors, Activists Urge ‘Never Again: People and Places Will Not Be Erased’

WHAT:
A National Day of Action news conference and community rally to defend the truth of World War II Japanese American incarceration history. Survivors of World War II incarceration camps along with community activists and allies will join to defend the accurate presentation of history in America’s National Parks and to honor the people and places that shape our past.
The event is supported by organizations committed to preserving the lessons and memory of Japanese American incarceration, including the National Parks Conservation Association, Go For Broke National Education Center, Japanese American Citizens League (JACL), Japanese American National Museum (JANM), Little Tokyo Historical Society, Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC), Manzanar Committee, Nikkei for Civil Rights & Redress (NCRR), Nikkei Progressives and Tuna Canyon Detention Station, among others.
