JANM’s renovated galleries will provide new ways to engage visitors with American history, including new StoryFiles—a groundbreaking storytelling technology that gives students, educators, JANM Members, and the public a realistic experience of engaging with survivors of America’s concentration camps and veterans.
The new interactive StoryFiles feature actor, author, and activist George Takei, camp survivor June Aochi Berk, World War II draft resister Takashi Hoshizaki, camp survivor Mary Murakami, and 442nd Battalion veteran Lawson Sakai. Learn more how StoryFiles can bring first-person accounts of World War II history to life and celebrate these individuals who have ensured their stories are preserved for generations to come.
