Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Japan Roundtable and Watanabe Democracy Fellowship Information Session

Meet JANM in Tokyo for a roundtable discussion on emerging trends in diversity, equity, and inclusion in Japan. This in-person event will also include program reflections from the 2024 Watanabe Democracy Fellows, information about applying for the 2025 Watanabe Democracy Fellowship, and a networking reception. This program will be conducted in Japanese, and is free and open to the public.

The Toshizo Watanabe Democracy Fellowship promotes global democracy and strengthens the ties between Japan and the US by promoting democratic values, and bilateral cultural understanding, and collaboration. The Fellowship builds the knowledge and expertise of future Japanese leaders across multiple sectors including government, the arts, media, education, nonprofits/NGOs, and the corporate world.
