JANM’s Digital Guide on the Bloomberg Connects app

Welcome to our new digital guide on Bloomberg Connects, the free arts and cultural mobile app created by Bloomberg Philanthropies.

Our digital guide features visitor information, current exhibitions, upcoming events and public programs, educational resources, membership opportunities, media arts, and online projects.

It is one of the newest additions to Bloomberg Connects, which features guides to over eighty world-class cultural and humanities institutions, museums, galleries, sculpture parks, gardens, and cultural spaces. 

Use our digital guide to plan your next visit, explore our campus, and listen to the audio tours of Common Ground: The Heart of the Community and BeHere / 1942: A New Lens on the Japanese American Incarceration with your personal headphones.

How do I use the lookup numbers?

The lookup numbers correspond to segments of the Common Ground audio tour and the artifacts in that exhibition.

  1. Click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your screen.
  2. Enter the number of the audio tour segment or artifact in the exhibition to listen to that portion of the audio tour.

The Japanese American National Museum (JANM) is proud to announce the launch of the Museum’s new digital guide on Bloomberg Connects, the free arts and cultural mobile app created by Bloomberg Philanthropies.

The Museum’s digital guide features visitor information, current exhibitions, upcoming events and public programs, educational resources, membership opportunities, media arts, and online projects. Onsite and virtual visitors can use the digital guide to learn more about JANM, plan in-person visits, and listen to the audio tour of Common Ground: The Heart of the Community.
