Position Summary:

At this exciting time in the organization’s evolution, the Japanese American National Museum (JANM) seeks a highly committed and proactive Chief Impact Officer (CIO) to work alongside its President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and talented leadership team. The CIO will be responsible for managing and guiding the day-to-day operations of the museum with a focus on creating impact through programming, strategy, external relations, and operational efficiencies. The CIO will drive and implement changes in JANM’s operating model in support of the strategy and the outcomes it seeks in order to achieve deeper impact and enhance operational and programmatic synergy across the organization This experienced leader will impact organizational productivity and performance by streamlining planning and programs, strategic initiatives, overseeing various work streams and functions, and developing and communicating objectives between various departments.
